A deposit holds the chair.

Slotward is booking for salons and barbers who are tired of empty chairs. Clients pick a service, pay a deposit, and get a cancel link. Your window decides whether you refund it.

No card to start. No sales call. You pick the preset and share the link yourself.

The gap is the lost service

A no-show doesn't only skip a haircut. It skips the person you would have put in that chair. The deposit is the cost of holding it.

Flat or percent, per service

A $20 hold on a cut and 25% on color can live on the same link. The amount is saved on the appointment, so a later price change doesn't rewrite it.

Set up between clients

The salon preset loads services, Monday–Saturday hours, and a 24-hour policy. You edit the numbers, connect Stripe yourself, and copy the link.

What the preset fills in

These are starting values. Every service, hour, and sentence can be edited after the shop exists.

Questions

Does this assume one stylist?

Yes for this version. One shop, one weekly schedule. It fits a solo chair or a shop that books as one calendar. Staff calendars are not in this version.

Can I change the 24-hour window?

Yes. The preset is a starting point. The hour count is the rule the refund follows, and the wording on your booking page should match it.

A quote from a salons & barbers shop

This space stays empty until a real shop agrees to be named. Slotward does not publish quotes or results it does not have.
