Terms of Use

These terms cover Slotward, a booking and deposit product from Montgomery Appworks LLC, 9905 S Pennsylvania Ave Ste A, Oklahoma City, OK 73159. Contact justin@montgomeryappworks.com.

The service

Slotward lets a shop publish services, weekly hours, and a public booking link. A client pays a deposit to hold a time. The shop's cancellation window decides whether a client cancellation refunds that deposit or the shop keeps it. The shop can mark a visit completed or a no-show. This version does not include dispatch, routing, crews, escrow, multiple locations, or a mobile app.

Accounts

You need an account to run a shop. You are responsible for the activity under your login and for the accuracy of your services, prices, and policy wording. One shop per account in this version.

Trial and subscription

A new shop gets a 7-day trial. No card is required to start it. The subscription is $39 per month after that, charged by Stripe Billing on the Montgomery Appworks LLC account, not as a fee on client deposits. A card is collected in Stripe Checkout before the trial ends, or when you choose to add one. If the trial ends with no card, or a later invoice fails, or the subscription is canceled, the public booking page stays up and new bookings pause. Existing appointments can still be cancelled from their manage link. You can update the card or cancel from the Stripe customer portal linked in Settings. Deposit charges are not the subscription. They are payments from a client to the shop.

Deposits

Deposits are direct charges on the shop's Stripe Connect Express account. Montgomery Appworks LLC is not the merchant of the deposit, does not hold it in escrow, and does not take a fee out of it in this version. A cancellation outside the window that applied at booking is refunded. A cancellation inside that window, and a no-show, keeps the deposit. The window and the wording are snapshotted on the appointment so a later edit does not rewrite a visit someone already booked.

The shop is responsible for its cancellation policy, for showing it to clients, and for the services it sells. Card network and Stripe rules still apply to refunds and disputes.

Acceptable use

Don't use Slotward to take payments you don't intend to honor, to collect card details outside Stripe, or to store information you have no right to keep. Don't probe other shops' manage links.

Deleting an account

Shop owners can delete their account in settings. That deletes their Slotward data, including client contact details on appointments. We ask Stripe to delete a connected Express account. Stripe may refuse while the account has a balance or an open requirement. In that case the local data is still deleted and the Express account has to be closed in the Stripe Dashboard.

Disclaimers and liability

The software is provided as it is. A refund can fail if Stripe rejects it, and a missed webhook can lag behind the Checkout return URL, which is what marks a deposit paid. To the extent the law allows, Montgomery Appworks LLC is not liable for lost profits, a missed appointment, or a deposit Stripe did not move. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Oklahoma law.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, excluding conflict-of-law rules.
