Reserve the session, not a roster.
Slotward books a block of your time. A student pays a deposit to hold it and gets a link to cancel. There is no student database and no class roster in this version.
No card to start. No sales call. You pick the preset and share the link yourself.
A late cancel is an hour you can't resell
The tutoring preset starts at 24 hours. Cancel before that and the deposit refunds. Inside it, or a missed session, you keep the deposit.
Two session lengths, then yours
60 minutes and 90 minutes are seeded. Add or hide services if you teach a different block.
Afternoons and Saturday by default
Hours start at noon through early evening, plus Saturday. Change the week to match when you actually teach.
What the preset fills in
These are starting values. Every service, hour, and sentence can be edited after the shop exists.
- 60-minute and 90-minute sessions
- A flat deposit on the hour, a percent on the longer session
- Monday–Saturday, noon to 7:00
- 24-hour cancellation window
Questions
Can a parent book for a student?
They book with their own name, email, and phone. Slotward stores that contact on the appointment. It does not create a student profile.
Is the lesson online or in person?
Either. The product only schedules the time and takes the deposit. You send the meeting link or the address yourself.
A quote from a tutors shop
This space stays empty until a real shop agrees to be named. Slotward does not publish quotes or results it does not have.
